Our Story
Two Decades of Doing Doors the Right Way
Our owner, Eric Colbert, got his start in the garage door trade back in 2004, working alongside his dad in Arizona. Before that, he spent years in food service while picking up handyman and odd jobs on the side. When he joined the family business, his dad taught him the trade from the ground up and, just as important, how to do the job the right way. He set high expectations and pushed Eric to take real pride in his work, lessons that still show up on every service call today.
In that small family business, Eric learned the value of hard work, honesty, and building lasting relationships with customers. Later, he went to work for one of the largest garage door companies in North America, where he learned how big operations run and picked up the industry's best practices. Eventually, he decided to start his own company to combine the professionalism and expertise of the big operations with the personal service that so often gets lost in larger businesses.

The Name

In this trade, the small details are what matter: alignment, balance, safety, and reliability. We wanted a name that captures that mindset. No shortcuts, no loose ends, just work that is completely squared away before we walk out the door.
